PlaceLedger Data Deletion
PlaceLedger is a local-first rental documentation app from Vellumstead Labs LLC. PlaceLedger does not require an account, and rental reports are stored on the user's device in the current app build.
Delete Report Data In The App
Users can delete individual reports inside PlaceLedger. Deleting a report removes that report from the app and PlaceLedger attempts to remove related local photos and cached PDF files from app storage.
To delete a report:
- Open PlaceLedger.
- Open the report you want to remove.
- Open the report's local data or delete section.
- Choose the delete report action and confirm the deletion.
Delete All Local App Data
Because PlaceLedger stores report content locally, users can remove all local PlaceLedger report data from a device by uninstalling the app or by clearing the app's storage in the operating system settings.
Local report data can include property details, report notes, photos, optional GPS stamps, signatures, generated PDFs, app preferences, and local backup/import records.
Request Deletion Help
PlaceLedger does not currently provide user accounts or cloud report storage, so Vellumstead Labs usually cannot delete report content from a server because report content is not uploaded to a PlaceLedger server.
For help with deletion questions or records handled by third-party services, email [email protected] with the subject "PlaceLedger data deletion request".
Please include:
- The platform you use, such as Android or iOS.
- The approximate date of the purchase or issue, if relevant.
- Whether your request involves purchase records, crash diagnostics, or local app data.
Do not send private report contents, photos, signatures, exact addresses, or PDFs unless PlaceLedger support specifically asks for them.
Data That May Be Kept
Some information may be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, Vellumstead Labs, or other service providers when needed for purchase validation, refunds, fraud prevention, tax/accounting records, diagnostics, security, support, or legal obligations.
Report contents, photos, notes, property details, signatures, PDFs, and backups remain local to the user's device unless the user chooses to export or share them.
