Foldra Terms of Use
Foldra is a desktop file organization tool that helps users review and approve suggested actions for files in user-approved folders.
1. Overview
By using Foldra, users agree to these Terms of Use and the Foldra Privacy Policy. Foldra is developed by Vellumstead Labs LLC under the public developer brand Vellumstead Labs.
2. File Organization Tool Only
Foldra suggests names, folders, cleanup review, duplicate grouping, and related organization actions. Users are responsible for deciding whether to approve, keep, undo, export, delete, share, or otherwise manage their files.
3. Local-First Storage
Foldra stores app metadata locally on the user's computer. Foldra does not provide cloud backup, account sync, antivirus scanning, legal compliance, or guaranteed recovery of local files or metadata. Users are responsible for backups of important files.
4. Purchases And Licenses
Paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy. Users receive a license key after purchase and may activate it in Foldra. Subscription billing, cancellations, taxes, payment methods, and refunds are handled through Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors.
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to misuse Foldra, including by violating laws, infringing rights, attempting to bypass license controls, reverse engineering the app where prohibited, or using Foldra to manage files they are not allowed to access.
6. No Guarantee Of Results
Foldra is provided as a practical organization utility. Suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Users should review actions before approval and keep backups of important files.
7. Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foldra is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind. Vellumstead Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of files, data, profits, goodwill, or other losses arising from use of or inability to use Foldra.
