Avenqel Privacy Policy
The current Avenqel internal-test build has no account, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or remote-data service. Normal gameplay stays on the device and is not sent to Vellumstead Labs or another company.
1. Information the app handles
Avenqel stores game state and preferences locally on the device so the game can work. This local information is not transmitted to Vellumstead Labs or a third party by the current build.
The internal research build also contains an optional facilitator-controlled study recorder. It is off by default. If deliberately enabled for a moderated test, it records bounded gameplay events—such as the test scenario, selected input method, move count, result, and integrity hashes—to a local file on the device.
The recorder does not capture names, email addresses, device identifiers, raw touch traces, audio, screenshots, or free-form text, and it does not transmit the file.
2. What Avenqel does not do
- No account or sign-in is required.
- No advertising or advertising identifier is used.
- No analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting service is included.
- No gameplay or study data is sold or shared with another company.
3. Platform services
Google Play or Apple may process information when you download, install, update, or review the app. Those platform activities are governed by the platform provider's own privacy policy and are not data collection performed by Avenqel.
4. Retention and deletion
Local Avenqel data remains on the device until it is removed through the operating system. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Avenqel deletes its local game data and any optional local study file. The current build has no Avenqel account or cloud copy to delete.
5. Support messages
If you voluntarily contact support, Vellumstead Labs receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond to the request. Do not send sensitive information, screenshots, or device files unless support specifically asks for the minimum information needed to investigate an issue.
6. Children
Avenqel is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not designed for children under 13. The current build does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
If a future build adds accounts, network services, analytics, advertising, purchases, cloud storage, or another material data practice, this policy and the applicable store disclosures will be updated before that build is released to testers or players.
